Education Committee

The main focus of UWEB Education and Outreach is to mesh with one of the overall missions of the center: to fully integrate research, education and technology transfer and outreach. The UWEB Education Committee is the focal point that guides and enhances the research experience of our undergraduates, graduate students and post docs. The eleven member Education Committee, which has been in existence since the Fall of 1997, has done an outstanding job of overseeing all education activities of the center. The membership consists of investigators from different disciplines, a student representative (an officer from the Student Leadership Council), the Director of Education and Outreach, the Education Program Coordinator, UWEB's grant administrator and an academic advisor from the Department of Bioengineering.
