Industry Opportunities
The University of Washington Engineered Biomaterials (UWEB) group in partnership with the Student Leadership Council (SLC) is offering a resume distribution program for those UWEB graduate and undergraduate students who are actively searching for or have a serious interest in finding Biomaterial or Nanotechnology internships.
The goal of the UWEB Industrial Internship Referral Program (IIRP) is to facilitate a relationship between the UWEB students and UWEB industrial partners.
In addition to providing a list of companies with open positions to interested students, this program will provide a list of applicants and their internship time-frames to partner companies, allowing interested companies to contact a student when there is a match. Bi-annually the active resumes will be collected and compiled into a resume booklet for distribution to industry members at the UWEB industrial symposiums. Compilation and distribution will be managed by the SLC.
Those students who are interested in submitting their resume should fill out the attached form and send it along with an electronic copy of their resume (preferably in .pdf form but Microsoft Word is acceptable) to the IIRP representative [Jeanette Stein (jwenzel@u.washington.edu)]. In the event that the student is hired or obtains an internship, it is the student’s responsibility to notify the IIRP representative to have their resume inactivated.

The present status of jobs available to our students
in fields that would interest them is so dynamic that an online
web page would not be the most efficient way of notifying you,
our students, of current job opportunities. Rather, our
administrative team E-Mails you the status of several jobs, when
they become available.
If you are not already on this mailing list and
you are a current UWEB student, please contact:
