UWEB EMAIL
yourmail@uweb.engr.washington.edu
UWEB is separate from the UW's Email system, completely!
The UWEB tech administrator has no powers over your UW Account,
however he/she can walk you through the steps of forwarding email
from one to the other.
If you go on vacation...
Let Gary know what you would like to use as your vacation reply, and when to turn the auto reply on and off.
Alternately, you can use your email client to make a rule to reply
to all incoming mail with a given message. You need to leave
your computer and email client running for this option to work.
When you retire:
You'll no doubt want your email to follow you
just in case a couple people fail to learn about your new email
address. This forwarding is set up by the systems administrator.
